We just recently started the edgewatch-campaign and everyone except our GM are Newbies so this video is just on time. Very Nice!👏 Thank you for your videos - they are always so detailled and very extended🤓

When my group played Kingmaker, two of us had characters that hailed from the Tiger Lords; a barbarian and a scout (rogue archetype). Unfortunately, we did not get more than halfway through the AP before our GM suffered a fatal heart attack. 😢 I regularly wonder wonder how that campaign would have turned out.

It's a pity that Agents of Edge-watch is unplayable, believe me we tried, but after three TPKs with increasingly minmaxed characters it became clear it was just a dud. Absalom is such a fun place.

Your videos studying Pathfinder chronicles really improved my enjoyment replay of Pathfinder king maker & wraith righteous found myself reading ever book both games I never got to play Pathfinder or DnD yet I'm 47 I wanted to play since I was literally a kid it's on my bucket list run Pathfinder campaign think it's only way I will get to play

From my games there is also Chainbreaker the Thrice-hanged & Hogfather in the Puddles district. Chainbreaker was a Druid in life who was hanged for stealing his animal companion Hogfather, who at the time was a domesticated hog. His soul was consigned to Cernunnos’ realm in Elysium, which was like a prison to the lonely little goblin. When Hogfather, who was consigned to Nirvana, sought him out in Elysium, Chainbreaker was told that he should learn from the boar’s example by the azata. From that day forward, he sought a way to escape the “prison” of Elysium, where he was without tribe. The core of his tribe in the Puddles are slaves he freed in Cheliax before migrating to Absalom. Many of the halflings of them personally witnessed the Chellish hell knights hang him and watched him get back up when they cut him down to recover the rope. The goblins of his tribe have watched him use wildshape to turn into a wolf, so they assume he is a fifth hero-god. After arrival in Absalom, he put his tribe to work building a place to live in the deeper parts of the Puddles. They began by collapsing old buildings and filling them in with mud and soil to create dry land for their campsite. The oldest campsites are now farms and range land for the pigs, covering several of the old city blocks. The dredging operations to build new islands have left deep sinkholes in other parts of the Puddles, such as the ship canal at the Spitside docks, which is deep enough that large ocean-going vessels can dock safely. I’ll go into more detail when the next video covers places, if you’d like.

Thank you for this video. I have been playing in PFS games the last few months and really didn't understand what the society was in game. I got it, but not really. Anyhow, this helped a ton.

I thought Absolom would be last whenever Paizo gets around to releasing the Test of the Starstone module.

Is the Starwatch the precursor to the Starfinder society in the Starfinder setting? Its uniforms look distinctly modern, which is why I ask

My first introduction to Kami and Oni was the Magic the Gathering’s original Kamigawa block. While I couldn’t pronounce a thing, I was fascinated by the concept of everything having its own mini to major god spirit. Great work and thx for bringing back fond memories!

I’m so sad to see this series end, but there’s the promise of new things to come. And that makes me happy. At least now there’s no more new demigods to keep track of (yet).

But isn't necromancy already its own school of magic? And out of all the spells in the necromantic school, how many actually raise undead? I'd say the majority of them instead revolve around doing horrifying things to the mortal body and soul, and like six of them actually raise the dead?

Found your channel through the Shackles regional deep dive video. I must commend you for summarising a decent high-level history of Golarion into less than 30 minutes. I've read through some of the world guides and material, so I know that this 28-min video was probably the culmination of hundreds, possibly thousands of hours of reading. Only thing I'd have changed was to add descriptors to nations/places: (The archipelago of )The Shackles, or (The undead) nation of Geb. Arazni is probably the most compelling and interesting characters in the lore, so when you mentioned Nex & Geb, I realised you didn't cover how they're named after their respective sorceror-kings who hate each other, and the creation of the Mana Wastes. Probably too much detail to get into, but a few descriptors here and there would have greatly contributed to highlight how interesting some of these settings are.

I am worning on an evil monk major NPC that lives in Jalmeray. Thinking a follower of Irori who has been corrupted by an Asuna into thinking enlightenment js about perfection, power, abd exoanding one's understanding forcibly onto others. It fits the Asuna wanting to unmake and remake reality, to counter the divine, and the themed of self development and enlightenment for both monks and Irori.
